Originally this application has been filed as Original Application No.8081 of 2000 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, application has been transferred and re-numbered as W.P.No.41581 of 2006.

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the Order of the respondent vide his proceedings in No.B1/11105/95, dated 04.09.2000 and quash the same.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed calling for records pertaining to the Order of the respondent vide his proceedings in No.B1/11105/95, dated 04.09.2000 and quash the same.

2. The petitioner has filed the Original Application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers

Subsequently, due to abolition of the Tribunal, this matter was transferred to this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.41581 of 2006.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.11.2020, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the amount has been recovered from the petitioner and nothing survives in the writ petition, for which, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought adjournment to get instructions. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

4. Therefore, considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
