ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition in para No.4 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31614 of 2024, dated 18.12.2024, that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Ruppes Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties (out of which one of the sureties should be either the father or mother of the petitioner). 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is poor, he had lost his father and his mother is also bedridden; that therefore he is unable to execute the sureties, as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.31614 of 2024, dated 18.12.2024; and that inspite of granted bail, the petitioner is still in custody, hence prays to modify the aforesaid surety condition and the amount for executing the bond. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

Heared the Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the submissions of both sides and the fact that the petitioner is still in custody, inspite of granted bail by this Court vide order dated 18.12.2024, this Court is inclined to modify the condition in para No.4 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31614 of 2024, dated 18.12.2024 as follows:

"the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Ruppes Ten Thousand only) with two sureties (out of which one of the sureties shall be a blood relative to the petitioner), each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned V Additional (i/c I Additional) Sessions Judge, Chennai" 5.
