Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the G.O.Ms.No.31/2004 dated 27.02.2004 of the 1st respondent herein insofar it relates to that of the portion restricting the period of payment of family pension to the petitioner from 25.02.2004 and direct the respondents herein to pay petitioner's family pension from the date of death of her husband i.e. 15.04.1954, as she is legally eligible and entitled to receive family pension. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for quashing the G.O.Ms.No.31/2004 dated 27.02.2004 of the 1st respondent herein, insofar it relates to the portion restricting the period of payment of family pension to the petitioner from 25.02.2004 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter came up on 07.10.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner and it was posted for 04.11.2020. On 04.11.2020 also, there was no representation for the petitioner and it was posted under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant any further opportunity. Therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
