ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the First Respondent to enquire into the Appeal No.DR/2882/B/2020, dated 20.11.2020 filed against the order of the Second Respondent dated 07.11.2020 rejecting the Patta Application in respect of Plot No.A2, comprised in Survey No.11/17A & 11/18B of Kaspapuram Village Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpet District.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has applied for a Patta transfer for the Plot No.A2 through an online application dated 06.10.2020. The said application was rejected by the Tahsildar on 07.11.2020. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an Appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram as Appeal.No.DR/2882/A of 2020. However, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2020 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 4.The Additional Government Pleader has no objection for said order being passed and he fairly conceded that the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2020 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
