ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) This writ petition is filed for issuance of a mandamus to the respondents 2 to 4 to execute the order in S.H.R.C.No.2981 of 2018 dated 04.02.2019 passed by the 1st respondent in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2022.
2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 has produced before this Court a cheque bearing
No.863696 dated 07.02.2024 of State Bank of India, Anaimalai Branch, Coimbatore for a sum of Rs.50,000/- drawn in favour of the petitioner, which is handed over to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in this Court, who has acknowledged the receipt of the same.
3. Since the petitioner is concerned only with the direction regarding payment of compensation as directed by the State Human Rights Commission, recording the fact that the order of the State Human Rights Commission is complied with regarding payment of compensation to the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. It will be open to the State to comply with the further directions of the State Human Rights Commission, as no further appeal is preferred. No costs.
