Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the respondent herein in respect of the impugned proceedings - The proceedings of the Executive Engineer and Administrative Officer, Erode Housing Unit, Erode- Proc.No.R3/4797/81, dated 29.06.2006 and quash the same.

O R D E R

These Writ Petitions have been filed challenging the order passed by the respondent Housing Board directing the petitioner to hand over the possession of the house site allotted to the petitioner.

2. Earlier, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent has submitted that the petitioner has to pay the final cost of site allotted to him and if he paid the final cost, they will permit the petitioner to occupy the land.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has paid the entire cost and hence, they will not disturb the possession of the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent that the final cost of the house site has been paid by the petitioner and the respondent also will not initiate further proceedings, no further adjudication is required in these Writ Petitions. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
