ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated on 10.12.2025 and to grant promotion to the post of sanitary supervisor in accordance with G.O. (Ms) No.23 dated on 21.02.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as a Sanitary worker in the fourth respondent Panchayat since 14.08.2008 and is eligible for promotion to the post of Sanitary Supervisor as per Government Order dated 21.02.2024. He further submitted that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 10.12.2025 for grant of promotion to the aforesaid post, however there was inaction on the part of the respondents. Hence, the present petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2025 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
