PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 15.11.2020 made by the petitioner for police protection and decide the same in accordance with law within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 15.11.2020.

2. It is seen from the records that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and according to the petitioner, he had purchased -Organic Yellow Corn- from the 3rd respondent and part amount was paid. Later, the petitioner came to understand that the product that was supplied is of bad quality and therefore, the petitioner seems to have refused to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pay the balance amount. According to the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is threatening the petitioner with dire consequences, if the petitioner does not pay the balance amount.

3. In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner will have to agitate his grievance only before the competent civil court and in a case of this nature, the police cannot interfere.
