PRAYER : Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.5654 of 2002 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, application has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.6810 of 2007. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in Proceedings No.42103/E1(2)/96 dated 08.11.2001 passed by the first respondent and to quash the same and direct the respondents to pass orders that the petitioner has retired with effect from 16.08.1989 A.N., in favour of the petitioner. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the first respondent in No.42103/E1(2)/96 dated 08.11.2001, quash the same and direct the respondents to pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders that the petitioner has retired with effect from 16.08.1989 A.N.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even on earlier occasions, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, it was posted for today, under the caption 'for dismissal'.

3. In view of the above fact that even after giving several opportunities to the petitioner, there is no representation on behalf of him and since the matter is pending from the year 2007, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
