The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 01.08.2007.
2. The representation submitted by the petitioner reveals that it was submitted under the provisions of the Right to Information Act.
3. However, the learned Government Advocate (Taxes) appearing on behalf of the first respondent brought to the notice of this Court that with reference to the representation submitted by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, the Government in its letter dated 30.08.2007, informed that those informations, sought for by the information seeker, were not available with the Department of Commercial Taxes and Registration.
4. This being the factum, it is left open to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the concerned Public Information Officer for the purpose of securing instructions by following the procedures as contemplated under the Right to Information Act.
5. With the abovesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
