Crl.M.P.No.1616 of 2023 in Crl.O.P.No.4215 of 2021 R.N.MANJULA,J.

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to comply the order dated 03.03.2021 made in Crl.O.P.No.4215 of 2021 in Crime No.34 of 2021.

2. This Court by its order dated 03.03.2021 has passed the following order in Crl.O.P.No.4215 of 2021:

"5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this Court under due intimation to the defacto complainant."

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above order has not been complied with and the Charge sheet has not been filed yet.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police undertakes that the charge sheet will be filed within a period of two weeks.

5. Since the investigation has already been completed, taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the respondent Police is directed to file the charge sheet within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
