This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in Memo No.6245/NIR1/KA(MA)PA/2012 dated 12.06.2012 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and direct the second respondent to alter the date of birth of the petitioner as on dated 08.08.1960 as per the birth certificate dated on 02.02.2012 in his service records of Highways Department, Chennai City Roads Division Saidapet. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. 2/4
