..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for writ of Certiorarified mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings No.A5/18299/2005 dt.25.11.2005 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service as Village Assistant in Vallivagai Village Thiruvannamalai Taluk & District with all attendant benefits and other benefits.

O R D E R
The case of the petitioner is that while while the petitioner was serving as Village Assistant, he was placed under suspension by impugned proceedings dated 25.11.2005 passed by the 1st respondent. Challenging the said impugned suspension order, the present writ petition is filed.
2. Today, when the matter is taken for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted before this Court that pending writ petition, the writ petitioner died on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
24.06.2011 therefore, the aforesaid suspension order issued against the petitioner is abated. The learned Additional Government Pleader has also filed a status report along with the death certificate of the petitioner to that effect.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and the status report submitted by the 2nd respondent dated 15.11.2021, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs. However liberty is granted to the legal heirs of the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned for the DCRG and other benefits to be received, if any.
