Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in proceedings no.38769/CD/2002 dated 05.11.2002 and further proceedings in memo no.14988/CD1/2007 dated 25.06.2009, on the file of the second respondent and quash both the proceedings as illegal, incompetent and without jurisdiction and further direct the respondent to disburse all service benefits to the petitioner pursuant to his retirement on 31.06.2009.

ORDER
Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that since the petitioner suffered two charges and one charge out of the two was dropped and even against the second charge, he was imposed with a penalty of recovery of a sum of Rs.500/- per month for a period of three years. Due to passage of time, the penalty of recovery of the sum of Rs.500/- was also complied with, hence, nothing survives.

2. Recording the said statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
