O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Malliyakarai Arulmigu Sree Throwpathiamman Temple festival at Attur Taluk, Salem District on 16.08.2018 between 06.00 to 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2018.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 04.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 16.08.2018, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 14.08.2018.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
