dated 03.01.2025, seeking for erection of tower No.35(serial No.37) on Unjanai-Nallur Transmission project in between the Tower No.34 and 36 (Serial No.36 and 38) connecting on a straight line approved by the Electrical approval Committee.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2025, seeking erection of tower No.35(serial No.37) on UnjanaiNallur Transmission project in between the Tower No.34 and 36 (Serial No.36 and 38) in a straight line approved by the Electrical approval Committee.

2. The petitioner is the owner of the property situate in S.No.403/2B and 403/3B in Maniyanur Village, Paramathivelur Taluk, Namakkal District. He has got certain grievance with regard to the deviation of plan in erecting electricity transmission towers for transmitting power from the existing Unjanai Sub Station to the

Nallur Sub station. Hence, he submitted a representation to the respondents on 03.01.2025, requesting them to erect the Tower No.35 (Sl.No.37), as per the approved plan by the Electricity Board. The said representation has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this court.

Mr.D.R.Arunkumar, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for respondents 2 to 5 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.01.2025 will be considered and orders will be passed in accordance with law by the fourth respondent, within a time stipulated by this court.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this court is inclined to direct the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
