The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the first respondent to take action against the second respondent on the allegation that the provident fund contribution has not been made in respect of the petitioner herein.

The brief facts leading to the filing of the above writ petition is that the petitioner was an employee of the second respondent and from 19.03.2016, she was deputed as coordinator for its workers deployed at Saveetha Hospitals at Sriperumbudur. It is alleged that the second respondent used to deduct certain amount as provident fund contribution from the workers' salary and failed to pay the same to the first respondent. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though the second respondent deducted provident fund contribution, it was not paid to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

account of the first respondent corporation.

Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the amount deducted towards provident fund contribution has been mistakenly credited to a different account and that the complaint made by the petitioner that the contribution is not at all credited, is not correct. In paragraph No.4 of the counter affidavit, it is specifically stated that originally the amount of provident fund has been credited to A/c No.TN/MAS/54231/000/00000450 and thereafter since the petitioner had resigned from the services of the second respondent and rejoined again after some time, another account in A/c.No.TN/MAS/54231/000/0000775 was opened and the contributions were credited to the subsequent account number. Therefore, it is open for the provident fund authorities to take note of the above inconsistency and to take corrective measures, for which the petitioner has no objection.

4. Recording the above statement made by the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
