ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceeding of the second respondent dated 01.04.2023 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to issue a legal heirship certificate on the demise of the petitioner's father, namely Mani @ Kuppusamy, as per the decree dated 19.12.2022 made in O.S.No. 206 of 2020 passed by the Learned District Munsif Court, Kangayam.

2. Heard Mr.N.Manokaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.R.Murthi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner did not annex the decree that was passed by the Court, and that if the same is annexed, the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered and a legal heirship certificate will be granted. The learned Additional Advocate General also produced the written instructions in this regard from the second respondent.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to annex the decree that

was passed in O.S. No. 206 of 2020 on the file of the Learned District Munsif Court, Kangayam, dated 19.12.2022. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall act upon the application and issue the legal heirship certificate. This process shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands allowed in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. 21-07-2025 gd Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
