1.Murugaiyan 2.Rajeshwari .. Respondents This appeal is came up before this Lok Adalat for settlement. Both the parties are present. The learned Counsel for the Appellant, Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, and the learned Counsel for the Respondents Mr.R.Sridhar are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both Parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT It is a case of fatal. Challenging the quantum, the Appellant / Transport Corporation has preferred the present Appeal. 2.The Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.5,44,000/- with interest at
7.5% per annum from the date of petition till the date of deposit and costs as compensation.
3. Challenging the quantum of the Award of the Tribunal, the Transport Corporation / Appellant has preferred the present Appeal. After discussion and mutual negotiation, both the Parties have agreed to a sum of Rs.6,25,000/- (Rupees Six lakh and twenty five thousand only) in full quit.
4. The Appellant / Transport Corporation is directed to deposit the amount Awarded now, less amount already deposited, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which shall pay interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum from this date till the date of deposit. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the enhanced Award amount to the claimants to his bank account directly by RTGS. On such deposit, the claimants are entitled to withdraw the same forthwith as apportioned by the Tribunal. The Award is passed accordingly.

This Lok Adalat Award is passed in terms of the above settlement.
