Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the order of detention passed by the 3rd respondent herein in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.09/Ka.Sa.Tha.E.Pa.Va.Pa/Nur.P/2014 dated 29.12.2014 under crime No.402/2014 branding the detneu as "Black Marketeer" under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu namely B.Navaneetha Krishnan, son of Bhoomiraj, aged about 24 years, who is now detained in Central Prison, Coimbatore before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) The petitioner, who is mother of the detenu herein, viz., B.Navaneetha Krishnan, son of Bhoomiraj, aged about 24 years has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the third respondent dated 29.12.2014 against her son branding him as a "Black Marketeer" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act 1980 [Act 7 of 1980].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the third respondent as against the son of the petitioner herein dated 29.12.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.52, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection [E1] Department dated 16.02.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
