Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize service of the petitioner as Driver from the date of his initial appointment that is from 01.07.2001 and pay all monetary and other service benefits by considering his representation dated 21.09.2023 within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing hte respondents to regularize service of the petitioner as Driver from the date of his initial appointment that is from 01.07.2001 and pay all monetary and other service benefits by considering petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2023.

2. On instructions, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that on receipt of the petitioner's representation, the petitioner called for personal hearing along with relevant records for the enquiry to be conducted on 09.02.2024. However, the petitioner was absent on 09.02.2024 and once again the petitioner was called for enquiry on 16.02.2024.

3. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass orders on merits in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
