(Heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 5, 7(3)) of Lotteries Regulation Act, in Crime No. 28 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is not an accused in Crime No.28 of 2021.
