Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents, their subordinates to fill up the post of B.T.Teachers/Wardens in Tamilnadu Adhi Dravidar Schools/Hostels on 50:50 basis as between promotees direct recruits of the 27 posts filled in July 2005 and 142 posts filled up in July 2006 with direct recruits, consequently forbearing them from filling up the 108 posts in 2007 with direct recruits only.

Today, when this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
