The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to quash the proceedings passed by the first respondent in and by his proceeding in Pa.Mu.(K3) RP 20/2002 (20587/02) dated 17.01.2006 and to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of S.F.No.234/2B in Kodikulam Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted that after the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner had died and details of his legal heirs could not be ascertained.
3. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
