ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to survey the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.722/1, Plot No.910 & 923, situated at Pallikarunai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. The petitioner submitted application before the second respondent in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.722/1, Plot No.910 & 923, situated at Pallikarunai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. However, due to paucity of ten years, the representation of the petitioner may not be available in the office of the second respondent.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application to survey the subject land comprised in Survey No.722/1, Plot No.910 & 923, situated at Pallikarunai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, if so advised, on payment of requisite fees. If any such application is received from the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
