The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, as against the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Senior Supervisor from 29.05.2007, the respondents themselves granted promotion from the year 2004 during the pendency of the writ petition, and the grievance of the petitioner agitated in the present writ petition has already been resolved. 2.

In the light of the above, this writ petition is closed as having become infructuous. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
