Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to quash the notification issued by the respondent in memorandum No.7094/APD-Group I-A/2001 dated 08.11.2001 for recruitment (direct) - posts included in Group I services -20002001 as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to reserve 3% quota for disabled candidates as per the Act I of 1996 the persons with Disabilities (the equal opportunities protection of rights and full participation) Act 1995. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner. Even on the earlier occasion, i.e., on 09.10.2020, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner and hence, the matter was adjourned to 09.11.2020. Even on 09.11.2020, the learned counsel for the petitioner was not intended to proceed with the matter and hence, the matter was adjourned to 09.12.2020 (today). It can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in proceeding this case. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
