This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 16.12.2024 made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta and mutation of revenue records in the name of the petitioner. 2.Heard Mr.P.M.Jayachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent. 3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 03.03.2021. The petitioner has made the necessary application and also paid the fees seeking for patta. Since the same was not considered, representation was also made to the respondent. The same also did not evoke any response. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and taking note of the registered sale deed that was executed in favour of the petitioner dated 03.03.2021, there shall be a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. It is made clear that if there is any rival claim they shall also be put on notice before a final decision is taken.
