This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider petitioner representation dated 24.12.2006 and grant license to the petitioner firm to run Cable T.V. Network situated at Hindustan Lever Limited Nagar, Tondiarpet, Chennai 600 081.

2. The learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 states that the representation of the petitioner was considered favourably in favour of the petitioner and license has been granted to the petitioner to run Cable T.V. Network in the said place. Since request had already been considered by the respondents, this Court is of the view that the prayer in the writ petition has 2/4

become infructuous.
