ORDER
The Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Coimbatore, by letter dated 17.04.2026 had sought for extension of time to dispose of the C.P.No.129 of 2012 which was remitted back to the concerned Presiding Officer by this Court vide order dated 27.01.2026 in W.P.No.2864 of 2021.
2. This Court while remitting the matter to the Presiding Officer, further directed the Presiding Officer to expedite the adjudication of the dispute at the earliest possible preferably within a period of three(3) months.
3. The Presiding Officer by letter dated 17.04.2026 stated that the above said order copy received by the Labour Court on 27.01.2026 and it is for the said reason, there has been delay in the progress of the case.
4. By stating as above, the learned Presiding Officer of the Principal Labour Court, sought for six (6) months extension of time to dispose of the C.P.No.129 of 2012.
5. Considering the request made by the Presiding Officer for granting six(6) more months, this Court is of the view that the said request made by the Presiding Officer can be acceded to, however, by restricting the time to three (3) months.
6. Accordingly, the Presiding Officer is granted further period of three(3) months time from today i.e.., 30.04.2026 to adjudicate and dispose of the C.P.No.129 of 2012.
