PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 5th respondent appointing the 6th respondent as a B.T.Assistant (History) teacher dated 16.06.2011, quash the same and issue consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to promote and appoint the petitioner as a B.T.Assistant (History) with effect from 16.06.2011 and grant all consequential benefits.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for calling for the records of the 5th respondent appointing the 6th respondent as a B.T.Assistant (History) teacher dated 16.06.2011, quash the same and issue consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to promote and appoint the petitioner as a B.T.Assistant (History) with effect from 16.06.2011 and grant all consequential benefits.

2.When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner 2/4

and learned counsel for the 5th respondent submitted that petitioner had died on 13.06.2021 and nothing survives in this Writ Petition. 3.Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and 5th respondent, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
