O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Devathakudi Arulmigu Sree Kulunthalamman & Muneswarar Temple, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam on 23.08.2018 between 06.00 to 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2018.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 02.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 23.08.2018, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 02.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 18.08.2018. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
