Writ Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in G.O. (ID) No.226 School Education (U) Department dated 28.08.2006 and the consequential order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.9468/E3/2006 dated 01.09.2006 and quash the same as far as it relates to the petitioner institution is concerned.

The case of the petitioner is that as per G.O.(ID) No.226 School Education (U) Department dated 28.08.2006 the first respondent prescribed 18% quota for Schedule caste, 1% for Schedule Tribe, 20% for most backward community, 30% for backward class and 3% for other communities towards rule of reservation for the students to be admitted in the private unaided teacher training institutes within the State of Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2006-2007. The petitioner further stated that challenging the consequential order directing the unaided non-minority teacher training institute to follow the rule of reservation to the extent of 69% within the management quota, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. The Writ Petition is filed in the year 2006 and the admission of students has already been over in the year 2006 itself. Accordingly, after a lapse of 13 years, nothing survives for further adjudication in the Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
