Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of petitioners in respect of their land comprised Survey Number : 116/1B, New Sub Division Survey Number : 116/1B2 situated at Neruperichal Village, North Tiruppur, Tiruppur District by considering their representation dated 09.10.2020.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.10.2020 and to grant patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of the property in Sy.No.116/1B2 of Neruperichal Village, North Tiruppur, Tiruppur District.

2.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents 1 to 3 and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 26.02.2021 at 11.00 a.m. at the office of the third respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the third respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.
