Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned notice of the respondent No.4463 dated 03.06.2004 enclosing a copy of inspection report No.VR 1399/04 dated 03.06.2004 and to quash the same.

2. However, the learned counsel for the second respondent states that the writ petitioner-Unit itself was closed. This apart, the impugned order dated 03.06.2004 is only a show cause notice and lost its significance on account of efflux of time.

3. Under these circumstances, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
