..Respondent Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings No.Na.Ka.S2/25231/2008, dated 13.02.2009 and quash the same.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the order of the respondent passed in his proceedings in Na.Ka.52/25231/08, dated 13.02.2009.
3. The Flying Squad of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Perambalur inspected the rice mill of the petitioner and seized 51 bags of rice on the ground that it was provided for public distribution system. While confiscating the rice from the petitioner's rice mill, recommendation was made to cancel the Hulling Licence issued in favour of the petitioner's father and to black list him. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed mainly contending that the principles of natural justice has been violated.
4. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the recommendation has been made without any basis and if the licence issued in favour of the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
father is cancelled without providing opportunity, it would have serious impact on the business of the petitioner's father.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the Hulling Licence issued in favour of the petitioner's father is valid till 31.12.2020 and as on date he is running the rice mill.
6. In the light of the above facts, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the subject matter after providing ample opportunity to the petitioner's father. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
