ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases registered under POCSO Act Cases, Tiruvannamalai District to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day in the event of his surrender in Crime No.3 of 2026 dated 08-01-2026 on the file of the second respondent Police.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.3 of 2026 registered for offences punishable under Sections 87, 64(1) of BNS, 2023 read with 5(I), 6(1) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 read with 3(2)(v) of SC/ST (Prevention and Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 and therefore, usual order cannot be passed in this matter.
