Order The petitioner has filed the writ petition against the 1st respondent to consider her representation to continue her studies in the course of B.E., CSE (AIML), 3rd year in 1st Respondents college.
2. Case of the petitioner is that she is pursuing an Engineering Graduation in the 1st respondent College in B.E., CSE (AIML) 3rd year. She was sexually harrassed and victimised at the hands of her classmate viz., Mr.Kishore. Hence, she submitted a complaint to the 1st respondent, who after enquiry dismissed the above said Kishore from the College. While so, on 29.10.2025, suddenly the 1st respondent called the petitioner and her mother and orally informed that she has been dismissed from the College. Aggrieved over which, the petitioner has submitted representations to all the respondents on 10.12.2025, 11.12.2025 and 10.12.2025 respectively. Since the said representations were not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not given any show cause notice or any written communications for her dismissal and she has also unable to attend the College, which resulted in shortfall of attendance to appear in the University exams.
4. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner limited his prayer to the extent that it would suffice, if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
7. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2025 after affording opportunity of personal hearing and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
