This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.377 of 2016 on the file of Karumathampatti Police Station. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that investigation has been completed and final report has been filed in this case and the case was taken in cognizance in C.C.No.805 of 2017 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sulur.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) endorses the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners. He also produced the Slip Proceedings of the Judicial Magistrate, Sulur in Cr.No.377 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC to show that the case was disposed.

4. It is seen that in Cr.No.377 of 2016, investigation had been completed, final report was filed and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.805 of 2017, trial conducted and the accused were acquitted.

5. In view of the disposal of the case, nothing survives in this petition and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
