ORDER

(Order of this Court was made by M.S.RAMESH.J,) This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records in the order dated 07.01.2025 bearing No.626399/tha.ku.2/2024 passed by the second respondent and to quash the same, and direct the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave to the petitioner namely Appu @ Rajendran S/o Seenivasan, aged about 40 years, Convict No.6817, Convict Prisoner, confined at Central Prison, Puzhal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. We do not find any infirmity in the reasons adopted by the Jail Authorities for grant of ordinary leave to the petitioner as the one year period as contemplated under Rule 22(3) of Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence 1982 as amended in G.O.(Ms).No.205, Home (prison-V) Department, dated 25.04.2022, has not expired.
