respondent (1st respondent) herein under section 7 of the land Encroachment Act, 1905.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader (i/c.) appearing for the respondents. 2.The petitioners have approached this Court seeking quashing of the notices issued to them under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The said notices are dated 14.11.2006.
3.It is an admitted fact that till today, no notice under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, has been issued to the petitioners.
In this view of the matter, the writ petitions are premature and hence, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
