PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent in Memo No.855/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 11.12.2019 against the petitioner's husband the detenu Mari, Son of Perumal, aged 37 years, now confined in Central prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the said Mari, Son of Perumal, aged 37 years, before this Court and set him at liberty. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Nirmal Kumar.

brother as "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.523, Home, Prohibition ane Excise (X) Department, dated 29.01.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
