Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of a writ for bearing the first respondent from removing shop bearing Numbers2 and 13 respectively situated in the land bearing TS.No.50 at Subramaniam Road, Palani, Dindugal District, of the petitioner without following the procedure under section 270-A of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920) For Petitioners : A.Thiyagarajan For Respondent : Mr.P.Srinivas for R1 C O M M O N O R D E R The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent Municipality Mr.P.Srinivas, made a submission before this Court that during the pendency of all the Writ Petitions, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Government issued an order rejecting the appeal filed by the Association of Traders and accordingly, the entire market has been closed.

2. In view of the fact that, no shops are now functioning in that locality, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in these Writ Petitions. Accordingly, the writ petitions stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
