O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2022 requesting the first respondent to initiate appropriate enquiry proceedings and cancel the registration of Neyveli Automobile Association as per the provisions of Sections 36 and 38 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 on merits and in accordance with law within a period stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representation dated 05.12.2022 requesting the first respondent to initiate appropriate enquiry proceedings and cancel the registration of Neyveli Automobile Association as per the 2/4

provisions of Sections 36 and 38 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, however, no order was passed. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2022 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after providing opportunity to the respondents, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
