This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to investigate the matter and file a final report in Crime No.651 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

2. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The respondent police is directed to proceed further with the investigation in accordance with the guidelines given by this Court in the case of Manohari V. The District Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai District, Sivagangai reported in 2018-2- L.W.(Crl.) 522 and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file a final report.
