ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.233 of 2019, on the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Villupuram.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already trial commenced by the trial Court and the prosecution have examined the witnesses as P.Ws.1 to P.W.4 and also marked the exhibits as Exs.P1 to P10.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that even in the Anticipatory Bail stage, settlement arrived between some of the victims and there are totally seventeen victims in this case and the petitioners are ready to settle this matter also. Even then, since the trial has already commenced, the present quash petition under 482 of Cr.P.C cannot be entertained. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 4.However, the petitioners at liberty to compound the offence before the trial Court by settling the entire amount due and payable to all the victims. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the 1st and 4th petitioners alone is dispensed with except the date on which, the trial Court insisting their appearance.
