O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the father of the detenue seeking direction to the respondents to produce the detenue, P.Abinaya, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter, P.Abinaya, aged about 19 years went missing, in connection with which petition enquiry has been conducted in C.S.R.No.543 of 2015, but no FIR has been registered. Since the respondent - police did not take any effective steps to secure the detenue, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instruction from the Sub-Inspector of Police, AWPS, Pollachi, Coimbatore, who is present before this Court today, submits that the detenue got married to the third respondent and she is in the family way. He further submits that the said fact has been intimated to the petitioner herein, who came to the police station on 23.01.2016 and has given a letter dated 23.01.2016 stating that since his daughter has married the third respondent, he is withdrawing the complaint given by him.

4. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
