When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted

that though the petitioner has come up with this petition seeking to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.45 of 2023, the investigation in this case has already been completed and the case has been referred as 'Mistake of Fact' and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Omalur by way of e-filing bearing No.LTN20230000477C202600075 on 29.01.2026 and RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner/de facto complainant.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands closed.
