Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 18.02.2017 by issuing patta in favour of the Petitioner to the extent of 1998 in S. No. 11 in layout bearing Old No. 242/2, T.S. No. 90/3B Ward B, Block No. 3, Arakkonam, Vellore.

O R D E R

Mr. M. Digvijaya Pandian, Learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondents, on instructions, states that due to bifurcation of Districts, the property is now transferred from the jurisdiction of the Tahsildar, Arakkonam Taluk to the Special Tahsildar, Arakkonam Town Settlement, and if the Petitioner makes fresh application to the said authority, the same would be considered. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to make fresh application for issuing patta to the concerned authority and she has made an endorsement to that effect.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
