Respondents PETITION under Section 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the Inspector of Police H4 Police Station, Korrukupet, Chennai to produce the petitioners' father, namely, M.Raja, who is in the illegal custody of the 1st respondent forthwith before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by daughters of the detenu, namely, M.Raja for a direction to the third respondent to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that after the death of their mother, their father married the first respondent and is living with his second wife.

3. We find that the detenu is aged about 48 years and is living with his second wife. Hence, it is not a case of illegal detention warranting issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed granting https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies in the manner known to law.
